Why Tokenized Stocks Needed Vanna

No perps. Zero Kamino yield. Hold-only bags. Vanna turns xStocks and PreStocks into credit, leverage, and one-click yield.

Tokenized stocks already trade on Solana. TSLAx, GOOGLx, AAPLx, OPENAI, and ANTHROPIC exist. The market still treated them like pictures of equities: buy, sit, hope the price goes up.

That is the gap Vanna closed for Stocklana.

The three missing utilities

1. There was no perp market

You could buy TSLAx on a DEX. You could not long it with margin, short it into a drawdown, or close the book in one transaction. Tokenized stocks had spot. They did not have a trading venue that behaved like a brokerage.

Vanna Perps opens and closes long/short stock exposure from a margin account. Long deposits USDC, borrows more USDC, and swaps the total into the stock. Short deposits the stock, borrows more of that stock, and swaps the total into USDC. Both paths are one signed Solana transaction.

2. Kamino stock interest was zero

Kamino listed xStocks. Utilization on those stock reserves is effectively unused, so supply APY sits at 0%. Holding TSLAx in Kamino did not pay you. The only “utility” was custody.

Vanna stands up real lending pools for the same stocks. Borrowers pay a kink-model APR. Lenders receive vTokens that grow with that interest. TSLAx, GOOGLx, AAPLx, OPENAI, and ANTHROPIC finally have a reason to be supplied.

3. Hold had no on-click strategy

A tokenized share sitting in a wallet does one thing: it tracks the name. No credit line. No carry. No one-click path into a market that actually yields.

Farm / One-Click deposits a stock or PreStock, borrows against it, swaps the total into USDC or SOL, and supplies that into Kamino’s main market — the reserve that has real utilization and a real supply APY. Close is the reverse unwind.
